The UPS man just brought me a few pieces of Romark Metalgraph Plus for some signs a customer wants. Any good advice on raster & vector settings as well as other wisdom that will keep material out of the scrap pile would certainly be appreciated. The signs are 18" x 24", so mistakes will be expensive!

I used the stainless looking Metalgraph Plus and rastered at 25P 90S 500PPI.

Vectoring settings probably won't work, since your machine uses a different scale, but for what it's worth, I used 47P and 6.2S 500PPI.

I will tell you that it takes a lot less power than you'd think. Low power will work well. Start low and work up instead of the reverse, because too much power will blow out the edges a little. Light power will give razor sharp text and lines.

I haven't used it but it has a .001" cap so it should engrave and cut like any other 1/16" laserable Rowmark.

I made exterior signs with the Metalgraph Plus Brushed Antique Gold over Black and they looked great. Rastered at 600dpi. 100s 60p. Vector 20s 85p 500freq. I vectored with the film on. then removed the film and rastered with nothing on and then washed them off with water.

Metalgraph plus also vector cuts well without the film, does not blacken up like textures and some other Romark laserables . Have cut over 12000 parts so far. ULS X2 660 Power: 100 Speed:16 Air assist:Low PPI:1000

I'm in Oz what does it cost per sheet in the states?
