Small gloat...at Woodcraft

Stooped in Woodcraft this evening. Discount room was pretty full. Picked up a new Akeda DC-16V dovetail jig for $140, and the McNaughton Laser Rig for hollowing for $5. Yea, only 5 bucks for a rig that retails around $150. They had 3 or 4 sitting there, opened boxes taped back shut. Still brand new.

My Woodcraft has all their remainin Akeda inventory in the clearance area at 50% off. I picked up some bits yesterday.

Thanks Jim. I am going to go back and see what other accessories they have marked down.

I forgot to mention it came with the accessory pack, but it was missing the dust collection parts. Still has all the bits and pin guides etc.

It was in the clearance section. I'm certainly not complaining about the price thats for sure.

I'm getting disappointed with my local Woodcraft. Their clearance rack is typically marked down around 10%. I did score a router table insert at a decent price. But a dovetail jig? Never.
