View Full Version : Envelope Icons on left of post

I see that my post on the power tool forum has a grey envelope with what appears to be a seal on it. What does that mean? I see at the bottom of the page what the different yellow, red, and grey envelopes mean, but I don't see one with a seal on it. It probably tells me somewhere, but I haven't yet found it.

That icon (closed envelope with a dot) indicates it is a post you have participated in (either started or responded to) that has no new messages. If the icon shows an open envelope with a black dot then it is a thread you have particpated in that has a message you have not read.
