I was browsing on ebay and came across this workbench. It does look like it can use a little tlc. Just thought I would post it here, in case anyone is interested.
Brattleboro, Vermont is only about an hour away for me. I will have to watch this and see where the bid goes. Ebay#300194639920

Yer gonna catch heck for directly linking to ebay - even though it isn't your auction. Change it to say "Ebay #300194639920" instead of a link.
Now ...
Brattleboro is right near greenfield, MA where I once lived - if I'd known i was gonna have the shop i do now (5 years early, pyschically i suppose), I'd be all over that!

That's a great bench, looks exactly like mine.
I built mine out Fine Woodworking, issue 53, I believe it is a Frank Klaus design, very good bench.

I'd be all over that if it wouldn't take up 1/4 of my one car shop

I don't really need it, and I would have to move a bunch of things around to fit it in my small shop. That being said, LOML gave me the OK to bid up to $150.00.
I checked it this morning and it is already @ $157.50 with 6 days left. :(
Oh well, maybe next time.

I'll bet it goes for over $300. And it will be worth it. There is a lot of wood and a lot of work in that bench.

Well, for anyone that is interested, that workbench ended up selling for $912.01.
Just a tiny bit higher than the $150.00 that I was going to bid for it. :D

It was a nice bench wasn't it. I just hope that whomever bought it, uses it. It would be a shame to just have it sit.

I bid $425.00 on that bench. Saw that it went for over $900. I cried...uhh, not out loud though.

I'm actually kind of surprised that it went that high.
For that much money I would probably have considered the Euro style workbench from Grizzly with 9 drawers under the 4" top.
