There was some interest here in the past about making buffing wheels. I have a pdf file that is a just a tad too large to post on this forum. It is a short (three page) tutorial that explains how I made my own buffing system. I just wanted to save some expense, since my income is fixed. If anyone would like a copy of it, email me and I'll send it to you.

Sure, I'll take a copy of that. I've saved some old jeans just for that purpose. Don't know if the blue dye will come off in the buff tho..

Jim, the blue hasn't come off on anything I've buffed, so far, but my material wasn't new blue jean material. If it's new material, I'd wash it with a little clorox added to the first rinse, and then after the load is finished, run it through another rinse cycle.
Duh! Just re-read your post. Old material shouldn't give you any problems. :)

G'day, Harry!! 'Tis a small, small, world, eh? Good to see you travel around! :) Thanks... works a treat!
