What do you do with old saw blades? While most say they can be resharpened, sometimes it cost more than the original blade. I have a whole box of used saw blades.

Try to find a good, local sharpening shop. I just had a 40 tooth WWII sharpened for $15 and it cuts better than new. I think that's well worth it for all but the cheapest of blades.

One word:ulu. It helps if you if you have Inuit blood.:)
I had a friend who told me of his graduate research in the northern Canada. He was effusive about discovering the ulu and working with them. I recall he had a number. And guess where they came from.
