I've been to his place in Alta Loma a couple times for tours. What a great guy - incredibly talented but very down to earth and approachable.

The big "9 -2"? Wow, if being a woodworker will help you live that long, I gotta focus more!

Quick story:
During a tour of his place last year with my woodworking class, 4 or 5 of us were sitting in a room with him, B.S.-ing and admiring a small table and 2 chair set he'd made out of Zircote. It was the wildest grain I've ever seen. He told everyone, Pick it up, feel how heavy it is. The chairs felt like they were made out of lead.

Someone asked how much the set would sell for - "About $300,000"

Yikes!
