I had a pile of 6 or 7 honey locust bowl blanks that were cut about this time last year. Finally got to them this last week. I noticed a pile of fine sawdust under them and was pretty sure what it was telling me. Almost done hollowing out the NE piece! The bugs that were inside added a lot to it, or took a lot away, depending on how you look at it. Unfortunately it started coming apart. I soaked it in thinned down glue and hope to finish it next week. Hence the “wish me luck”!…Bill…

Lookin' awesome, so far, Bill. Waiting with bated breath.....
I pour over, or inject into the holes, Lacquer thinner. It'll kill the larvae. Or... a bowl gouge will get them, too. :D

Outstanding looking bowl!

Man, I hope this stays together and we don't see parts of it embedded in a wall or ceiling later on...

Stay out of the line of fire, and keep us posted!
