I have spent the past several months upgrading and remodeling my shop. This week I purchased a Sawstop to replace my Unisaw that is needed on one of my job sites for a few months (good excuse) The setup on this saw was very easy with all the adjustments from the factory within tolerance (blade to miter slot .001 fence to miter slot .007. I will mis the old uni but this saw is very nice with the added advantage of a larger table and the 3 safety features a riving knife, left tilt and the sawstop.

Congratulations Ron. Enjoy your new SawStop. I have had mine about 8 months or so, and love it. Everytime I use it, I am glad I purchased one. Bill

Ron, CONGRATULATIONS!!! I hope that you enjoy your SawStop as much as I enjoy mine. Like Anthony, I'm enjoying it every time I use it. I've had it for about a year.

Hi Ron,
That's a very nice gloat for a first thread. Seems like you know your tools. How's the slider working on the SawStop?

I've been using the Unisaw for 7 years with a PITA spreader that I use very little because it's a pain to setup. So I'm only weeks away from ordering my own SawStop. Anybody wanna buy a unisaw? :p

I've used the Exaktor since july and have learned to love it. I dialed it in today and will put it to use this weekend. On a 5 cut setup it will be within .004 in 40" thats closer than I can assemble
