:)I read an article on box joints in Wood Magazine and just had to try it out. This 10" box is made out of 1/2" walnut and finished with satin varnish. This is a technique that I wanted to add to my skill bank.:)

Very nice!
I just started messin' with box joints, also.
My first couple attempts were a bit snug, so I'm
working on tweaking the jig.
Any advice for getting a good fit?

Nice box Gary. You must have read the same box joint article in Wood that I had enjoyed. Like you, I just had to build the jig and try my hand at it. Here is the box that I first made with the new jig and my new Freud box joint set of blades. Ironically, it, too, is made of walnut.

i use an adjustable jig. theres a couple of plans out there. makes it alot easier to dial in a good good fit.
