Although clearly not for me with the exception of possible the chain, our experienced turners could build this on your lathe:

I don't think so. Wouldn't have the patience especially the chain. Nice bike though. He did a great job on it.

I agree with Bernie, I would probably go bonkers trying to get all those pins just right. He did do an awesome job on it I wonder what kind of grade he got.

This kid will be successful no matter what profession he chooses. He is meticulous, thoughtful, a problem solver and clearly a superior craftsman. If he becomes a turner, my guess is that he'll come up with fantastic work.

To this future engineer I tip my hat in awe of his abilities, but it might be a kid with to much time on his hands. Anyway I am impressed with how he spends it.

The only thing I can think of to make it more difficult would be spoked wheels:D

Ha! Yea, and the spokes have to be turned. No fair buying rods!
