Anyone know of the Flexdrive motors can be fitted with normal pulleys for use with other tools using normal belts?

Hi Scott, I presume that you mean the Craftsman flexible driveshaft saw motors?

I had one, and it was a standard shaft size, although I cannot remember if it was a 1/2" or 5/8" size.....Rod.

Scott
I just checked the one I stripped off my dead saw.
sears # 63963
Amps 14/7 -1 1/16 hp cont rated
3450 rpm
56 frame
5/8 keyed shaft that sticks out about 1 3/4 past motor housing.
I am assuming all the flex-drive were the same. If you need me to check anything else let me know.

Thanks a much guys....that sounds like the one, and it sounds like it'll do the trick if I pursue buying the saw for the motor.
