Just in case you've had a rough day, here's a stress management technique recommended in all the latest psychological texts.

The funny thing is, that it really works.

1. Picture yourself near a stream.

2. Birds are softly chirping in the cool mountain air.

3. No one but you knows your secret place.

4. You are in total seclusion from the hectic place called "the world,"

5. The soothing sound of a gentle waterfall fills the air with a cascade of serenity.

6. The water is crystal clear.

7. You can easily make out the face of the person you're holding underwater.

8. See! You're smiling already. :D

Hey Glenn,

What is it that makes a red ale? I don't really drink much anymore but I've always loved George Killians. This stuff looks mightly tasty...you'll need to send some to us thirsty folks out West! :D

Generally speaking, an ale is "top-fermented" (the yeast floats) and a lager is "bottom-fermented" (yeast sits on bottom), but the German "lager" means "to store." Lagers have a longer maturation (mellowing) time, hence the smooth flavor. The red color does not come from storing in oak barrels (believe me, Coors does NOT do this when they make Killian's), but from the mix of grains and hops and the overall process. And, Killian's is not an ale, but a lager.

Simple answer to that...lay off the engineers and let the marketing department design the product.
