For those with the Hitachi M12V2 in a router table, which insert plate are you using? I was looking into the Woodpecker cast aluminum plate, but they don't list it as being able to fit the M12V2. I called them about this and they haven't contacted me back. I would like a good solid plate that won't sag.

Been using the Rockler large plate for several years now. No sag and will fit the MV12 router.

The Rockler is only 1/4" thick aluminum and only comes with two insert rings, one is 1 1/2, the other is blank. The Woodpeckers is 3/8" thick cast aluminum, it comes with 3 ring insert opening sizes, 1", 1-3/16" and 2-5/8"aluminum rings, plus a 8 piece ring set is also available to expand the variety of ring sizes that allready come with the plate. I would think Woodpeckers makes one for the Hitachi, it seems to be a pretty popular router. They do show a M12VC plate as being available.

I use the Oak Park baseplates with my Hitachi router. I have two, one regular size (1 1/2" center) and one with a large center hole for use with a large panel bit. I don't see the larger one listed at www.oak-park.com (http://www.oak-park.com) so perhaps they don't carry it anymore?

I guess that I should have stated this for the people that don't know, but the M12V2 has a different mounting pattern than the M12V, so plates that work for the M12V won't work for the M12V2.

Either way, I would think Woodpeckers will be able to accomodate your need.

Look at their lifts and you can see they make a plate for the 12V2. I guess you'll just have to talk to someone there.

I'm using the Woodpecker Unilift and an Xtreme Xtension with the M12V2. Works great for me. Got both on sale. Not cheap but quality equipment.
