Can anyone offer advice on the need (or lack of) trying to clean Anchorseal-type material off green wood prior to bandsawing. Does this stuff accumulate on blades, gullets, tires, guides, etc? Or does is just sorta disappear during the sawing process? Thanks for any experience/advice on this. JS

John,

I've never encountered a problem. For many cuts, you only encounter the Anchor Seal on an initial entry.

John I don't worry about it. I just cut the log and go. It doesn't seem to bother anything and most of it comes off the blade when cutting.

That being said, I wouldn't use the same blade for cutting an anchorsealed blank and resawing with cleaning.
