Kudos to WoodMaster

I ordered one of their new digital height readouts for my 2675 drum sander last Monday and by Thursday afternoon it was on my doorstep. Unfortunately they sent me the kit for their Molder/Planer which is identical except for a different mounting bracket. After a quick call to WoodMaster this morning, they are sending me a new drum sander unit and told me I could keep the old M/P unit as a spare. :)
Cool! Now all I have to do is figure out how to mount it to my PM planer!
I have been very impressed with Woodmaster’s customer service each time that I have dealt with them.

Indeed, very classy on their part.

The Wixey page has lots of non standard installations detailed in photo. You should be able to get some ideas there and modify it for your particular unit.

It will require the most basic metal working skills but that should be about it.
