I have been looking for some wheels for my home-made steady rest, but didn't want to pay a lot. Well, I finally got some Saturday. I happened to be in Target and they had all their roller blades on clearance. I got a really nice set for $9.95, so now I have 8 wheels at a cost of about $1.25 a piece. It looked these were roller blades they had purchased for Christmas, so they might not last long. All sets were at least 50% off or more. If you need some, its a great deal.

my neightbor and I split the cost on a set last summer, still cost us $12.00 EA. Be sure to sand the mold marks off, they will mark a lot of woods. :)

Jeff did the same thing. Got them for $9.95 and made a steady rest for my Nova and one for the Rikon.

Little more expensive here in STL. $10.18 at the Rock Road Target. They had 5 or 6 pair left. You'll need a 5/32 allen wrench to get the wheels off - at least on the pair I got.
