I've been using Gator Grit flexible sanding pad with hook and loop paper. Now I'm having a hard time finding it. What do you use for hand sanding? I need some alternatives

Mike,
For hand sanding wood I use Norton 3x, usually in the 100 and 200 grits and occasionally in the 320 grit. It seems to work better than any others I have tried, and it stays pretty sharp, in my opinion.
For finishes I usually use wet/dry type sandpaper. Cal
