The 1587 is the older model. The new model with blade guides is a 1590. Still a great price, but likely a closeout deal.

1587 AVS. No K on the end. Not sure what the difference is though.

This is the one I have.I want to sell it and gte the one with the guide blocks. I get beveled cuts when I dont want to on anything thick.

I understand and hopefully folks will read your post and not be happy with the price and unhappy with the saw. I have a 1591 and love it.
