Saw tensioning

Having rehabbed several Disston 12's over the past few months, I followed (as best I could) the advice of Jr. Strasil and Bob Smalser given in his excellent posts on the subject. I'm quite pleased with the results, every saw I've rehabbed seems to cut nicely and track straight so maybe I should just leave it at that... But I'm not that kind of guy...

The question in the back of my mind is whether I've been able to properly retention the blades. How do you know?
