I recently ordered a handful of items from Eagle America - it wasn't a huge order at all. Part of the order was FastCap Lefty-Righty tape measure. When I got the tape - I checked it against some known-good measurements and it was pretty far off (at least 1/32 - in some cases 3/64) - OK if it was a dime-store tape - but this was supposed to be an accurate woodworking tape. I think the metal tongue was not rivited correctly, as it was really sloppy.
Anyway -
I emailed Eagle and within 2 days the sent me a new tape that they had verified was measuring correctly. They said no need to return the faulty tape.
That's great customer service!
