**GLOATalicious!!**

After meeting up with SMC member, Peter Elliott, at Columbia Island Marina in Arlington this morning, I am now the proud new owner of this workhorse of a planer...

The Delta 13", 2-Speed planer runs great! Peter told me the blades are probably due to be flipped, but after running some pine through it after I got home, I may just get a couple more hours out of this side. :D

This purchase was perfect timing for me, as my old Delta 12" planer finally bit the dust last weekend. :( Alas, I will give it a proper burial...

Thanks, guys!! Peter obviously takes good care of his tools, because it's in great shape. I did blow compressed air to get rid of the dust, and wiped it down real good before I took the pic, but still!! :D

If the tables aren't waxed you might want to give them a coat, but otherwise I would say you have one real nice machine there!:D
