I'd like to buy 10 to 20 bottles at a time but the hobby store wants 10 bucks a bottle. I know there has to be a better deal out there. Thanks.:)

Do you want lots of little bottles or bulk? You can buy 16 oz on ebay (item #260203068057) for $41.50 shipped.

Our AAW club had a group buy several years ago for Starbond. Here's just one current source:

What about shelf life? It seems I am always throwing a 1/2 bottle away because it turns yellow and gets real thick.

In my stereo shop we go through a 2 oz. bottle sometimes in a day or 2. we use it in combination with baking soda to glue small wood pieces together when building custom consoles or door pannels. Staples or nails will blow small pieces like this to pieces. If you look at my website you'll see a need for just about anything you can use in a shop to create the systems we do. www.audio2000az.com (http://www.audio2000az.com). FYI sorry no internet sales.

Jim, Thanks. I'll be ordering from them first of the week. I'll let them know SMC is responsible for my purchase.

Bill, I don't know if that place is the best price, but they look pretty good given the quantities. I keep my extra bottles in the freezer and they are still fine after a very long time.

I'd always gone to http://www.towerhobbies.com for all that. Mainly since I used it for R/C.... ;)

Think at 2oz the lowest I saw was $6 something.

That price from ebay sounds good if you need a large amount though. Wonder how the quality is.

Thanks guys. We'll go through 10- 2oz bottles in about 2 or 3 months easily.

Thanks Don, I've been fortunate enough to recieve 7 installer of the year awards over my 20 year career in Car Audio. I'm also one of those lucky employers that has a dream team of employees. They've all got skills. I'm pretty lucky. I also have another business. I'm Tucsons exclusive dealer for Team Joyner Sand cars. Their website is www.teamjoynerusa.com (http://www.teamjoynerusa.com) I stock around 1/2 or more of their line up. Again though, I don't do internet sales. But it sure is a fun business to be in. Of course there's all that time for my woodwork too.:D When it comes to my wood work,.....I'll make time! I love it that much.:)

I've worked for Darren Miller at Audio Einstein's in Yuma and up until a year ago, I worked at Wired For Sound in Murrieta, CA. Now I'm out on my own, but I mostly do all the wiring for Tatum of Temecula, big boy sandcars. Here's some of my boat:

Here is company which will sell to you direct, but has a minimum order of about $150 or so.

I placed an order for the WW'ers in our building about 2 years ago or so, and they were fine to deal with. I seem to recall that the 2 oz. bottles were about $2 each or so. I keep mine in the refrigerator and they have lasted well. We don't use it that much.

Bill,

I have bought from these guys http://www.palmlabsadhesives.com/ and would recommend them. Plus there is an 800 number to talk to them about "bulk" quantities. When I talked with them I learned they triple filter their CA (whatever that means). I keep my 4 ounce bottles in the freezer-some are over 2 years old and still work!!:)

Ya, know Bill...I mis-spoke earlier...the glue I got through a bulk-buy was the EZ-Bond that Alan shows. I recognize the purple labels. Good glue! I use the 2 oz container at the bench/lathe and also have their accelerator. (I don't know why StarBond was in my mind...)

Ken - how are you storing the glue? It was my experience in my hobby days that the glue would last a lot longer if you freeze it or keep it in the fridge.

I had a bunch when I quit and my dad froze the bottles and used them as he needed them, for years after that.
