Hey guys. An amateur needs some critiquing of this CAD sketch before firing up Sketchup and ironing out the details. I've got a 14' long wall in our bonus room that I want to construct a "set-in" unit. It'll have a bank of cabinets on the left with a bookshelf above, center TV cabinet and a desk to the right. I plan to build the left base cabinets and the TV base cabinet as 2 separate units to keep the size manageable.
The center TV unit will be about 4" taller and be pulled forward 4". I also plan to make the bookcases about 4-6" shallower than the base cabinets.
Any thoughts or suggestions would be greatly appreciated as I've never attempted to design or build anything of this size.
