I've been noticing a number of new lathes the past month or so and it is great to see. Let me encourage everyone to get a pic of your lathe with yourself in the picture and the data requested in our "Sticky" for Members and Their Lathes "Turning Group Members and Their Lathes" (http://www.sawmillcreek.org/showthread.php?t=65230) it is at the top of the Turners Forum page. This really helps us to stay current with everyone and it is great for new folks who may not have seen your regular post. Thanks for your help.:)

I just added my name a couple weeks ago! It's really interesting to see other people's lathes and shop setups, so I encourage doing this also!

Guys, the finger is coming along just fine. I was in therapy the other day and the guy next to me had split his thumb open on his table saw. I guess I'm not alone. I thought about showing a picture, but then I didn't want to see a pic of Andy's ice cream and Moxy mix on the floor of his studio. Not only that, but I'd probably be banned for life from the NG.:D

I for one do not want to see pix of the gore. Glad you're comoning along. As I said, I got rid of my tab;e saw while I still have ten fingers. Getting old and shaky. I'll try to remember to get pix to the site soonest. :o:o

For what it's worth, hears my thoughts on the whole thing. For those that can't read and entertained a post with a lathe and no operator or an operator with out a lathe, or just a bunch of who-ha, I think the moderators should pull the post.

Second, speaking of moderators, Ken, where are you and your new lathe?? You have had your new lathe out of the box long enough, the shop is done and spiffy clean, how about a shot of your mug with the new spinner. :D
