The local Woodcraft was advertising on its site closeout DC-16's with accessory kit (cutters, dust control, etc.) for $339.99. I went down thinking I would jump all over this deal. I arrived, and the store had put every single AKEDA item at half off, including the jig. I walked out with a new-in-sealed plastic DC-16, two 7 degree AKEDA dovetail bits, one standard AKEDA straight cutting bit, one oversized AKEDA straight cutting bit, one undersized AKEDA straight cutting bit, one extra pack of (5) tail guides, one extra pack of (5) pin guides, one extra pack of (5) half blind pin guides, the dust control kit, and an undersize guide bushing for $284 and change, and that's including tax. I guess the 16's are no longer sought after with the arrival of the 24...
