The 'Project Time v.s. Shop Upgrade Time' thread got me thinking about this. I have a couple of nightstands on the drawing board and I swore that I was not going to be reaching over and around stuff or tripping on piles of scrap or moving piles from one end of the shop to the other during that effort.
One of my problems was those not-so-little scraps that are too large for the bucket and too small for the cut-off bin. LOML will bring me junk wood from her work now and then. She brought me about a dozen sheets of this stuff last Friday.

It's free so I slapped this together to go under my outfeed table.

Now those little piles of 'stuff' can stay out from under my feet.
