Ok so does anyone know where I can find 7" 26 gauge snap lock, or local spiral duct. I live 30 minutes south west of Minneapolis, MN.:( The local boxes all seem to carry 30 gauge only. Must be the steel prices.

The best place to buy spirial pipe is spiral mfg which is in the twin cities. I wouldn't use snap lock if I can could use real spiral. They will sell it in 5 foot chunks if you like. Which can be shipped via UPS.

Spiral Mfg or try Tried and True Tools in Fridley. If you're looking at Snaplock then any online supplier (i.e. Oneida) can ship it via UPS. It isn't too much much to ship as it packs nice and flat.

Check the Oneida website. They carry Snap-Lok. That is a good comparison to what you might find locally.

you might want to call up a local HVAC dealer. most will sell to the public on a cash basis, and you will get better prices than from say Oneida. Just ask like you know what your talking about, say to them do they stock 26ga snaplock ducting and fittings and are cash sales cool.

good luck

Your HVAC dealer is not likely to carry fittings (wye's) with crimps on the correct end, you'll need to get those from an DC ductwork supplier.
