I took the time to read some of your info provided on your site and was impressed with your opinion of "slow the lathe down and let the sanding do the work" if I interpeted it right!" sanding a project, one of the first things I was told by a demonstrator at a Grizzley store when being shown how to do pens!

Ever since the Louisville AAW show, I've been using Vince's starter kits and sandpaper. They are outstanding, and I could always use more. For a mediocre turner like me, sandpaper is essential. Even Bill Grumbine refers to his use of an 80 grit gouge.
