Adjusting contrast.....

Using Corel X3 and most other photo editing programs I have figured out how to adjust the contrast and edit the properties for the whole picture.

But before sending a picture to Photograv I would like to brighten up a fence since it kind of blends with the people standing in front of it.

Is there a tool or a brush I can use to just selectively highlight areas?

With the file in PhotoPaint use the eyedropper tool to select a color then the brush tool to paint. You can adjust the brush tool for shape, size and transparency.
