Looking great, Jerry...and familiar for some reason... :D (Anybody getting to central Florida should pay Jerry a visit!)

Jerry -

Great looking shop. I'm a little envious!

Thanks for taking the time to post it on your site (which is great, too, by the way!).

Jerry,
Even with out an invite I've been slipping in for a look see on the web. Great work space, very inspirational. Only good things can come out of a space like that.

Jerry,

It took me a while to get up the nerve to do it too!!! It's a big job, but the end result is worth it. The epoxy on the floor is great!!

Beautiful shop Jerry - and lots of the "right toys". I am in the process of upping the level of my shop with dust collection and have a few other upgrade projects on the planning board. Love the sign outside the shop!

Nice shop Jerry, but way to clean. Where's the wood chips?

Wow, Jerry, that's a beautiful space. All that plus it's in north central Florida. As a transplanted Gator, I get awful homesick for that area when I'm shoveling snow and ice here in Maine...

Question on your miter saw station - it looks like you have one dust collection port attached to the box that surrounds the back of the saw. Is that box tapered inside to direct the dust? And where does that second dust collection tube off to the right run? It looks like it might go to a collection port underneath the saw itself (just my guess).

I see you have photos of the Kancamagus in NH. I do a bicycle race (time trial) from the Conway side to the summit each spring. Motorcycle sounds like a LOT less painful choice :)

Thanks for sharing the photos!
Bill

Jerry,

Great looking shop (I wish mine could be sa clean and orderly as your is). I love the clamp cart - did you follow the article in Shop Notes for the design (modified, of course!, lol)

Great place to do your stuff!

Jerry,

I am totally green with envy! SWMBO is headed out on Saturday to an all day seminar. If you're going to be around, how about a personal shop tour and I'll buy you lunch in exchange?

Thanks for all the kind words & thoughts. The only reason I can keep the shop so clean is that I am now retired. Lots of time on my hands.

Kent: Sent you an e-mail, would love to show you the shop and meet another "Creeker".

Bill: Re the miter saw station: A 6" duct is attached to the base of the miter saw station and the Box is Not tapered, (I should have). The small flex hose is attached to the dust collection port near the blade. The box does a great job of collecting the sawdust but I still have to brush a lot of it into the 6" duct.
Again, Thanks for all the kind words.
