New SMC member Joe D'Attilio made a stop at chez Voorhees today to check the shop out. He got to check out the Delta contractor table saw that I will be selling in a month or so when I pick up my new cab saw as an upgrade. He also lent a hand in moving around the few kitchen cabinets that I am building for our sons home. You can see two of them behind us.

Joe is a budding woodworker guys, so he will be haunting SMC in the future to pick up any tips and good W'working habits

Thanks again Fred

Fred's got one heck of a shop! Jealousy doesn't even begin to describe my feelings - I was pretty starry-eyed my time there.(Sort of like the Brady Bunch episode with Bobb'ys first kiss - all i seen was fireworks and could hear the song "If you beleive in magic" - by Lovin' Spoonful (if my memory serves me)playing in the back of my head).
That was of course, after I got past my guilt of the act of alcohol abuse I commited on his driveway(I wanted to show my appreciaton for the invite and didn't want to come empty-handed therefore a nice chilled 6 pack of Yeungling was in order, but somehow one decided to commit suicide on the drive away) Talk about embarrassing...

Overall I had a very enlightening meet and greet with Fred, Good Times!

Hopefully we can do it again soon!

The beer wasn't wasted. The driveway was thirsty anyway. Heck, my regular buddies feed it fairly often.

Being dedicated woodworkers and all, did you use sawdust as "driveway" dry to soak up the beer?

Fred,
Do you have other pictures of your shop?

Um, Fred...beer shouldn't be disposed of until it's actually been used... ;) ...and then hopefully not in the driveway... LOL

Grant, I can do better than that. I have a YouTube video tour. Granted, it's about one year old or so, but you will get the idea.
