Hello,
My wife and I just picked up a CC from a local bank.
6 mos or 12 mos "same as cash" on purchases and/or balance transfers.
If you use CC's, it's a decent way ot get some extra "tool money".
Caveat applies - pay the balance or face the huge penalty when the bill comes due.
On a related note, I got a message from Home Depot that they are changing the reward plan effective April 2008. Reward points have increased, but it appears the way theycan be redeemed is also changing.
I somewhat read between the lines that th 2500 points = $25.00 HD card is going away.
Any insight from anyone on that woould be appreciated since I have enough points right now for ~ $200.00 in cards.
