This pecan bowl measures 11.5 inches wide X 3.75 inches high, and has a lacquer finish. It came from the limb of an old pecan tree. After it was finished it was soaked in DNA, put aside to dry then sanded. Your comments and critiques are welcomed.

The figure in that pecan is excellent, as is your form! And you can always count on laquer to come through with an exceptionally shiny... well... shine! Great job!

I never got to work with pecan, but always thought it should have much the the same kind of grain anomolies that walnut displays. Thanks for showing that it does indeed. :):)

Great looking piece of wood, and the form is very nice! I'm going to have to try lacquer one of these days, it looks wet! Nice job.
