I Want To Rub Out My Lacquer Finish On My Entertainment Center To Satin. After My Last Coat Of Lacquer Should I Use (0000) Steel Wool With Waxing At The Same Time Or Should I Wet Sand With Sandpaper And Then Use Steel Wool And Wax Which Is The Best Way To Achieve This With Good Results.

By The Way Thanks For All The Previous Help On Questions I Have Posted.

I finished a curio cabinet several years ago with 0000 wool and Johnsons wax. I was quite pleased with it. To save time however, I always shot my last coat of lacquer with satin.

That works every time. If you screw up the spray job just go to the steel wool & wax.
