I have a friend who wants me to build a harvest table 17 feet long with 2 leaves in it.Any ideas on how to support the middle of table would be app Also anyone with plans of such please contact me thanks Greg

I'd head over to a furniture store and check out some long tables. I've seen the stretchers they use pre-made in ww catalogs. Maybe a search on Rockler.
