Some of you may have read my post called thin ice. Well good news.
All is well, I met with the V.P. of Marketing for the client company and he said he liked the pens with the brass showing through. So, all is well. Below are my jig, and a sort of close up of one of the pens.
Thanks to everyone for help on the jig setup and the inspiration not to give up. :)

It's actually 32 pens, but it takes 10 minutes 24 seconds. That's 19.5 seconds per pen. :)

By the way, this is what 232 pens looks like. (I'm almost done)

By the way, I use luan for the jig material, and had a little trouble with it warping after I cut the jig. I used a few bread ties (wire ties) through the honeycomb to pull it back down. It works great.

Thanks againg to Frank & Brian & others? (my mind is slipping) for the design ideas & hints for faster work.

I Love this forum, it has helped me tremendously.

Thanks everyone...
Ricky

Great work Ricky. The pens look tremendous as they are. What speed and power setting did you settle on?

I ran these at 100% Speed, 90% Power. I probably could have run them at a little less power, but they were coming out great so I didn't experiment too much.

Actually that was what I thought it was going to be. I think you've hit the nail on the head with that one. Any spare pens you don't want?

I have a frankenstein one, that used for the first few tests.

Actually I'm only interested if it's pure silver with gold or a Montblanc
