I ordered this drill press table that's on sale from MLCS.
I thought it was a decent deal with free shipping and a few forstner bits thrown in.

Now I'm started to think it might be handy to use the drill press with a sanding drum.
How handy are sanding drums, such as this kit from Rocker?

Before I bought a spindle sander, I used a set of those all the time. The ywork pretty well.

The drums are alright for light sanding. They will clog up easy and hard continuous usage will not do your drill press any good. Also, I doubt that they will be giving away any decent drill bits. Now that I cheered you up, the table looks pretty good;):)

Several companies sell a DP table that look identical to my eye. Here's another one (without the Forstner bits) -

I dont use them as much now but used to quite a bit before getting my osc. spindle sander. I think the ones with the bearings (google Robo-sander) are worth the extra money though. I still find some uses for them even with the OSS

Dang! That looks like the same table for half the price. I need to include Grizzly in my list of sites to check when shopping. <g>

Jim, don't feel bad, I spend $79 for a Rockler drill press table and used it for 3 weeks and then took it off and made my own, I did keep the fence from it. The one I made cost me like $10....
