I was curious if anyone has mounted a power feeder on their jointer. I have the option on my machine and was interested in getting feedback if anyone has ever used a feeder on a jointer. Seems to me it might make things a bit easier, faster and more accurate.

Markus,
I've been playing with my new feeder on my shaper, but I haven't tried it anywhere else. I want to make a fixture with an extra base so I can clamp it to my table saw, maybe even the jointer. I've looked at several feeder manuals and they all reference jointer mounting.

Absolutely, and much safer also. I have a MiniMax combo that has a 12" jointer that scares the heck out of me. Wanting to keep my fingers normal length I bought a Delta 36-850 1/4 HP 4 speed three wheel stock feeder (not the cheapo Versa Feeder) and use it ALL the time.
Works great!!
