Homestead Woodworking School in NH

Has anyone taking their basic woodworking course? I am a complete beginner and was wondering if this would be a good starting point. Feel free to PM me if you want to keep your opinions private.

Hi Denis,

I will start out by saying that the owner Alan Mitchell is a close friend and a member of our NH guild.

Homestead offers great instruction at a reasonable price and I've known many folks who've taken the intro courses in several areas. No one I know has been dissatisfied in the least. Probably 15-20% of our 500 guild members have at one time taken a course there. The one caveat is that most of the courses are oriented toward power tool use.
