First time doing this. There was a thread yesterday about small shops. Here is what I have done. I still have two walls to work with. The rear of the shop area has an overhead door, so one dead wall ... My wood storage area is behing the "flex wall" and is a bit of a mess, i culled almost all of my scrap to finish the CMS station and the sacrificial fence.

Cant take credit for the science casework I salvaged from a College Lab remodel, but the tops and other carcasses are me.

I am still learning, and using my shop furnishings to feel my way into the next level.

Thanks for all your input my short time here.

(its also my first time with Photobucket, so hope the link works)

Lee, When time and money permits, paint the wall a light color and maybe install some daylight bulbs

Aw the possiblities! You have a nice space. Adding lighting, light colored walls, and a nice dust collection will make your projects very enjoyable. Good Luck.

Thanks!

I have some more 8' fixtures in my other part of the basement. I do want to paint the plywood to help soften the walls.

The dust collection is on schedule for most likely late spring .... I have a "Toy Box" that i use to stash money ... when it fills up, I get a new toy.
