I am building a aux. table for my bandsaw and am using 3/4 melamine and 1/2 mdf.
What glue do y'all recommend to bond those two surfaces together? Do I need to scuff up the melamine to assure adhesion?
Thanks
Dave

Polyurethane is what I'd use. Scuffing melamine would be good too. Todd.

I had a bad experience trying to use poly glue on melamine. I would try epoxy.

I might think about running a couple half inch dadoes down the long axis of both sheets and use a couple splines. Poly would probably do okay there. For gluing the surface I'd probably use my belt sander to remove the laminate and glue substrate to substrate.

Titebond melamine glue or better- Roo glue. Use Roo all the time in my melamine cabinets. Just a little and its together forever!
