I have a SC 35640 on order and wonder about which mobile base to get for it. Cabinet base is 20"X20". The manual says 414lbs. The on line spec sheet says 535lbs.

I bet the shop fox mobile base that Grizzly sells would work pretty well:

I bought one of the "heavy duty" shop fox bases - ordered thru local Western Tool. The base itself is OK, but the cheesy casters it came with won't even roll with NO load - too little clearance between the wheel surface and the frame of the caster. I have a mod in mind that'll need a bit of welding and 4 of the woodcraft urethane casters, but between the $80 price of the base plus the $55 plus the effort, I would definitely NOT recommend that particular base.

Rockler had their "add your own sticks" bases on sale for $29 instead of $49 last month, I bought 6 of 'em. Much better casters. I plan to use 1.5" square steel tubing instead of the "hardwood" they recommend. The pieces are pretty heavy-duty feeling, although I've not yet assembled one. HTH... Steve

I use the attached for my steel city table saw and I think it works great.
