Maple Box

well I was inspired to try one of these... so I did. I like it, you dont run across the difficulty of deep hollowing which is nice. :D originally made the lid loose but now its tight... it is shellac finish. 1 3/8 high by 2 1/2 wide. as always, critique please!!

Nice little box Ben! Great job of keeping the grain aligned. Like Mike - I also like the slight cove on the side of the box. Very nice!

I like it! I can't really get my lids to fit.... they're always either too small or too big. Doesn't look like you had this problem!

Yeah I like it. when you look at it dead on, the curve doesnt look that great imo but from above at any angle it looks much better. :D

Nice work, great joint between lid and box. Camera focus is a little soft.......Ron
