... hard to make!
I finished this one up in time for christmas. Lots of lessons learned.
The steam set-up and steaming was really easy and fun. (plywood box, radiator hose, coleman camp stove, pot of boiling water covered with a make-shift plywood top)
The actual constructing of the chair was a chore - with the mortise and tenons *and* angles.
Glueing up was interesting too - although I glued up the sides first (they were straight) and then the front and back (the angles) Dividing it was easer.
The back was originally supposed to be one piece, but my band saw kicked out on me, so i had to scramble and find another interesting walnut back, which ended up being three pieces instead of one.
all in all, i'm happy with the way it turned out, even though it took a lot longer than i thought it would.
