Any autocad gurus around? I have a file I need as a 3d rendering and have no idea how to do this. I also need to make a paper cut file of it to cut and fold to shape. Can any one help with this?

I did something similar with paper the other day and it took me a while getting the settings. Auto Cad is not always the greatest at 3d. Have you tried Sketchup? Its free and easy.

James,
I took your file into Rhino and made it 3d. I'm attaching a jpg and a 3d iges file. I don't know what a paper cut file is, but let me know if you need something different. I think you need another line in the side views.

Joseph, Can you attach the file as an autocad file? I can not open the iges format. Thanks

Hi James,
I haven't used Autocad in several years, so I may be doing something wrong, but I can't seem to save it with the surfaces. Here is a wireframe. If you want the surfaces we can try a different format. Rhino is good at converting.
