Randy,
That looks like a sweet deal. Turn it on and listen for anything that sounds abnomal. The arbor should spin freely. Make sure the tilt and blade height wheels move smoothly. I would pull off the top and look for any cracked castings on the inside.A common place for breaks are where the trunions are connected to the top of the cabinet. You will more than likely have to pull the top to load it anyway. Bring a straight edge to check for table flatness. Why aren't you picking it up now??? I hope it is there tomorrow. Oh, and Welcome to the Creek.:D

You should PRAY it's still there and hand over the CASH with a big smile. And bring it home and ENJOY it! Looks to be in good shape and well cared for. Good luck.

Randy - The seller is a Creeker. He posted it here some time ago. I was interested but the price was more like $800-$900 back then - plus he wanted to sell it with several other tools.

Good Luck!

I emailed him and offered to buy it sight unseen, but I'm in Florida and unable to close the deal until next week. Enjoy the purchase. I'm a noobe and wanted to start a shop off right. So bee it. Other deals will appear. Also like the sounds of the new Grizzly riving knife contractors saw coming out.

You should look for room in the truck for the planer. That saw is a steal at that price, and the planer is a good deal (better if he will take a grand for both).
