this is not an original idea but i'm satisfied in the way this setup came out. i saw a variation on another forum which i modified for my use. i bought the aluminum extrusion on ebay from 8020 for around $40 delivered and had some 1/4" phenlolic on hand, with hardware about $45 invested.

That looks like a great solution. When I did mine last year I dado'ed a board and attatched the board to fence.

I like the fact that you can put the BB's anywhere you want. Very nice.
