What has happened to Servicenet?

I noticed a while back that Servicenet has changed its look with the Dewalt logos and such. I just went there to download the owners manual for my Delta 17-950L drill press 'cause I'm too lazy to go downstairs, and WTF...! I cant find owners manuals, I cant find parts lists, my login doesnt work, the searches dont work, the faqs just give a long list of unrelated gibberish...? :confused::confused::confused: :(:(:( :mad::mad::mad:

I too have had a problem with the site. I had to re-register and still couldn't find the Delta part I was looking for. I sent an e-mail when I finally figured out how but as of yet have not received an answer. Perhaps because of the holidays. I used to get answers in about a day. I was talking to a local tool dealer when I noticed a whole section of dewalt cordless tools but no porter cable. I was given the distinct impression the cordless line of porter cable may be on the way out, and Delta may be concentrating more on industrial rather than home workshops. Who knows but nothing official of course. Just a cynical thought. If you were going to dismantle a company and eventually get rid of it, thus getting rid of competition, would you be open about it? Time will tell.:)
