In a recent post about bandsaws there was discussion of cutting both metal and wood on the same saw. I happened to catch some DIY network show where they mentioned this cute little cordless bandsaw (http://www.stouttool.com/products_xband.asp)--you can also get a base for it. It will cut wood but it seems to be mostly for metal pipes, angle iron, etc. It runs around $170 for the basic kit on Amazon. I've generally used my reciprocating saw with a metal cutting blade with pipes or angle iron in a vise, but if I had to do a lot of that I would think about this tool. Anyone have one?
